We have two locations. One is Main Kiwi House (373 Gloucester St.) and other one is Small Kiwi House (357 Hereford St.), both are exactly same distance (1.5km away) from city center and same direction (east)

From Christchurch Airport(10km)
Shuttle bus is the best option. They operate 24 hours a day, 7 days. Just hop in and give the Kiwi House address to the driver. It will cost around $20/person from the airport to Kiwi House.
There is a public bus service from the airport to the city centre, then you can walk to Kiwi House if you don't mind carrying your heavy language for 1.5km.
Taxis are always leaving from the city, or depending on how busy we are, we may be able to come and pick you up from the city.
If you need to get to the airport from Kiwi House we can call to book a shuttle for you. Just ask at reception.

Arriving in Christchurch by bus
"Atomic Shuttle Bus"can drop you off right in front of Kiwi House. Don't forget to make sure with your bus driver which Kiwi House you want.
All the other bus services will arrive in Christchurch City center. Both Kiwi Houses are 1.5km away from city center.
*We are around 15 minutes walk from the city centre. Despite the relatively close proximity to Cathedral Square (1.5kms from both locations) Kiwi House is in a residential area. This means that the cheaper transport options from the airport do not come directly to the door and require a bit of a walk. Because we know it is never fun to lug your luggage after a long flight, we suggest you either come directly via a shuttle from the airport, taxi from the inner city, or call us once you have arrived at Cathedral Square and we will endeavour to come and pick you up. (we can come and pick you up between the hours 11am-7pm, depending on how busy we are. Just ring us, the number is 381 6645.)
